Queen First Move

The Queen cannot move on the very first move of the game, for either player. It is blocked in by its own pawns and pieces. Queens cannot jump over pieces. A pawn must be moved in order to allow the Queen to move.

There is also nothing special about the first move of the Queen. It can move to-and-fro as much as desired, choosing any of its 8 directions on any move: up, down, left, right, diagonally. The Queen can go forwards and backwards, as much as desired, with no penalty.
