Saragossa Opening

The Saragossa Opening (1.c3!?) is not well regarded and is almost never seen in tournament chess. It seems like a basically wasted move by White. However, at worst, White is now simply playing a reversed Black opening (Reverse Caro Kann), and the first move has at least helped develop the Queen to c2.

Transpositions: The Saragossa may transpose into a King’s Indian Attack, a Reversed Hedgehog, or to a Reversed Caro Kann, depending on how white plays.
