The Nimzowich line of the Sicilian Defence is an unusual line for Black. It’s never really caught on as a major line in tournament chess, but it is playable, and has surprise value.

Transpositions: Note that Black can, in the Nc3 line, choose to play the normal Nc6 Sicilian by simply avoiding “4..d5!?”. Black can simply play “cxd4” leading to the normal Nc6 Sicilian main lines.
