King’s Bishop Gambit

The King’s Bishop Gambit is a subvariation of the King’s Gambit from the romantic era of chess. White intentionally allows Black to play Qh4+ which forces Kf1. White will gain time by harassing the Queen with Nf3, but the White King is a problem as it has lost the right to castle. This is an opening that is rarely played in modern chess, although it has a lot of theory, and is probably quite playable.
