Fried Liver Attack

The Fried Liver attack is a piece gambit opening that occurs in the Two Knight’s Defence in the King Pawn Openings. White sacrifices a Knight on f7 for somewhat dubious compensation.

The alternative to the Fried Liver Attack after Nxd5 is for White to play “d4” which is called the “Lolli Attack” and offers a good attack without the risk of sacrificing a piece.
