The b3 Sicilian is an uncommon line, but it’s reasonably sound. It tends to be a slower position than the Open Sicilian Lines, but there’s still plenty of chances for tactics. White’s fianchetto of the dark-square bishop can make some lines similar to a Larsen Opening (b3 opening), Bird’s Opening (f4 opening) or a Queen’s Indian Reversed.
